this been grinding my gears, I have not seen anything that makes this game a mmo and not just a Bioware RPG

Bax and I have talk about this I am getting the game because it's a BIoware rpg but of all the video I am seen I have not seen and hint of a mmo.

We seen two players together with the Sith and BH but that was it.

I've said this from the begining. Even if its a 5 player game, then again, that's all you really need in a persistant world is your 5 friends. flower the other 9000 idiots who are there to get in the way

Still not sure how this will go per se, but I have put all of my faith in the developers when they say that the game will have all of the things that a "triple A title". PvP, end game content, ect.

It's a hands on preview by IncGamers, and they say good things. Btw they say the same thing about how they were allowed to play without hundreds of other players and it doesn't feel like a true MMO yet, but from the "sliver of what they played" the game is gonna be huge.

Still nothing on the MMO and the last time the DEVs did a preview on Xplay they talk about the companions, which same name some of the sites call the Dragon Age Npcs.

Just seem like the games a Kotor with co-op you know. I love Bioware RPG so I am getting the game no matter what just can't see this being a game that has a guild and not like a clan tag or somthing

We'll have to see what comes out now for guilds ans crafting ( if any ) since the classes are all announced now. Lets wait and see abit more. Right now were only still seeing a small picture.

But I agree with Chem, give me 4-5 good friends and any game will be fun to play.

Yeah I agree. The only reason I play MMOs is the fact that it's not single player. The sense of reward is great when you have a few good friends. It's what made SWG 'great' even though the overall quality of the game wasn't good. Hell, just having a Trinity chat going up while playing is good enough for me, especially since this game will get old-timers out of the woodworks.

LOL...that's the stuff I miss from "the good old days...."

Dont forget the devs in interviews have always talked about the 3 pillars of any good MMO, and theyre now adding a 4th. Theyve talked about raids too. Etc. But it could very well be like DDO too I suppose...hopefully theyll get an interview out there sooner than later that addresses what the MMO portion of the game will be like.

Only good news is that the devs will reveal the majority of info this year, including opening open beta. Then we'll be able to know if this is an 'mmo' or not. Like I said before, we're only seeing the tip of the iceberg, there must be a poo of content not announced.

If TOR = Mass Effect 2 in the KOTOR world, then it's a win situation.
